This Interchangeable Badge Reel Adapter is quick to 3D print and can be added to almost any flat-back badge reel topper or embellishment. Use it with your existing 3D-printed designs, resin or epoxy pieces, laser-cut acrylic shapes, and more.

Simply attach the bottom half of the adapter to your badge reel using the glue/adhesive of your choice and add the top of the adapter to the back of your flat-back topper to transform it into an interchangeable design. Instead of permanently attaching every topper to its own badge reel, you can quickly swap designs whenever you want—perfect for changing with the seasons, holidays, outfits, themes, or workdays.

The included negative part cutter piece also makes it easy to modify compatible 3D-print designs right in the slicer of your choice, and create the space needed for the adapter, helping you convert many of your existing flat-back designs into interchangeable toppers (Video Instructions Included).

This is a great option for makers who already have a collection of flat-back designs and want to offer their customers a fun, reusable badge reel system without having to redesign their existing files.

👉🏻MATERIAL RECOMMENDATION:

PETG filament is recommended whenever possible, as it offers improved durability and resistance to wear. PLA may wear down more quickly with repeated use, which can cause the interchangeable connection to become loose over time.
